I keep reading blog after blog by mothers and fathers who have young (under 2 years of age) children who can't seem to find time in their love and joy of having that baby at home to write a blog, or respond to a comment or send e-mail or send snail mail (and no it isn't just you Steph) ... so I AM TAKING MY TIME NOW!
A friend asked me last week how I find time to update this and to change pictures on my myspace ... well I can put it to you simply - I cheat at work ... haha I do! I am a owner, I can do that! If I get my work done then so be it, right! (And you better not question me) But now I am sitting here asking myself what will I do when I am home those couple of weeks with the baby away from my work, where I cheat and update all the loved ones in my life? When I FINALLY have that precious baby in my arms and I am coohing and caahing all over her, how will I do it?! I have to work from home before that 6 week period is up, but I KNOW I WILL NOT WANT TO CHEAT THEN! Why would I cheat at home, when I can spend time with the baby, bathing, napping or just sitting staring into space. (I have heard you do a lot of that staring in the first few weeks, haha)
Anyway I am sad already cause I know I will neglect you all ... all 1 reader I have ... haha! I will try hard not to, but when I do please don't get mad at me!
Have a great weekend!

I was able to keep up the blog until the fourth kid came and it has been down hill since then. I still read and occasionally comment on everyones that I read..........well gotta go again.

See Roadkil that is what I am talking about ... it is sad, but it is life and I am excited about it!
girl, i hear ya. it happens. but i always say- blogging before any and everything! woohoo! haha! just kidding. sort of. ;) but think of all the great stuff you'll have to blog about once the baby is here! my son was too busy wailing from colic for me to do anything! but it flies by! you'll love being a mommy-nothin' like it. :)
oh, and i love your pics on your myspace. you have some kick ass maternity clothes! i never looked that hip pregnant! my mom got me all these maternity clothes from thrift stores and so they were like from the freaking 80's. i had stone wash elastic waist pants. awful!
Thanks Katie I was over weight before preggo so I decided to splurge on preggo clothes so I wouldn't feel like a total LARD ASS! Haha

Those shirts are awesome! I'm totally ordering one.
Life happens. Babies happen. I think it's great that people blog their life and all, but not so great if it becomes their life and they neglect the one in front of them.
You do what you gotta do. Which will be sleeping and resting!!! Enjoy your down time...it's not like the internet is going anywhere anytime soon.
Oh you will still find time to blog...it's the best way to show off your little one to lots of people!!! It will be harder in the beginning. Those first three months are rough...and I had AN EASY baby. Once they get a little bigger you can get into a good routine and I love to blog after I put her down to bed at night.
It seems over whelming to you now. Where will you find the time etc...but you do. You learn to prioritize differently than before. Though I will say I just finally got a pedicure a few weeks ago and it was the first one since she was TWO months old...it was scary!!! ha!ha!
