Okay well I know you all have asked for pictures and I PROMISE that on Friday - my FUN day at work I WILL put some pictures on this thing - but check this out - I was just on AOL Home Page surfing around looking at all the different sites - under the top venues I see my
favorite: "Suck Bang Blow" it had A LOT of mixed reviews as you can imagine - but check it out - it is the place to be for Bike Week - I guess I will miss it this year due to being um about 8 months preggo then but I Will most defiantly hit it next year!

I am going to DIE!

I know how horrible - there are people all around the world that are really sick, but if any of you know me you would know that I am not a good sick person! I am actually a very horrible sick person! Since that preggo test was + my husband has been waking up praying to God for me not to be sick and going to bed thanking God for one more day I was not sick, and now this.
A FREAKIN' COLD! Not baby sick may I add but a COLD - Note above I am not a good sick person - the minute I sniffle, sneeze or rub my ear I am off to the Dr. I have stock in amoxicillen (not really but i should) I walk in the Dr.s and he writes that prescription and I leave to go to CVS - I am not a good girl either I never take all of it, I take a couple of days for times like these when I don't wanna go, when I know it is not serious I just feel like I am going to die - but now here I am preggo and sick. You are supposed to be a tough woman and fight it - I tried so then I called the Dr. (my OB) she told me to look at the list go with Tylenol cold and sinus BLAH BLAH BLAH so I did I have been taking that shit since Wednesday, today I traded up to Sudafed - still feel like ASS! On top of all that I am 18.5 weeks preggo and EVERYONE keeps asking "have you felt the baby?" My response is still the same, "I am not sure!" "Oh you will know" Now here I am FREAKING out because what if something is wrong, did I take the wrong Tylenol product? Have I harmed my unborn child - I probably put it to sleep? OMG Stop being so dramatic, I know, I know! From mom: Relax we did a lot worse - ha ha my response to that is always the same - "Mom, that is why i only scored a 740 on my SAT's" she never laughs! Haha

Anyway the book says that some "fat" women don't feel the baby as soon as slender ones - ha ha I added "fat" for my own effects!

Well wish me luck if I feel this way tomorrow still I am going to my general Dr to plea for help! I am sure he too knows what I can take. I have the next baby appointment on Thursday. For their sake I hope I am still not SICK!

PS- it is KILLING me that I don't know the sex of the baby, i keep trying to make Andy agree to find out, but he is still standing strong! Oh well I did 2 tests on line - the Chinese test - it said it will be a GIRL - YEAH~ then I took another test that takes my age, Andy's age and the time of month conceived - it said ..... BOY - well shit 50/50 what is that?!

18 weeks ... My name is Sweet Tater

Holly molly who would have ever thought that being pregnant meant no drugs - I have a horrible cold - sinus infection, ear ache and fever - the ONLY THING I can take is Tylenol and it is not helping - I must have told my Mom yesterday 12 times that I was going to die - it really does suck! I guess it could be worse - I could have been sick like this the entire time - and since this is not baby sick I really shouldn't complain but you would think they would make a drug for us to take when sick!

We are 18 weeks now and this is what baby center had to say:Head to bottom, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a large sweet potato) and she weighs almost 7 ounces. She's busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that you'll likely start noticing more and more. Her blood vessels are visible through her thin skin, and her ears are now in position and stand out from her head. Myelin (a protective covering) is beginning to form around her nerves, a process that will continue for a year after she's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and Fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If your baby is a boy, his genitals are noticeable, though he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

Very Productive Weekend

WOW what a weekend - not that I physically did much but I really did do a lot!
I cleaned out my closet - 3 bags for Good Will and 2 storage boxes for the attic -
I finally picked out a crib set and the bedding to go along with it - if you are interested - check it out!
Furniture:

I am ordering the crib, bookcase, changer and chest all in pecan.
Bedding:

I really feel like part of the load has been lifted - now we just have to wait for it all to get here so I can pick paint for the room - it is already yellow and I am hoping we can leave 3 of the walls and paint one wall in stripes with green and yellow then make the other 3 walls 1/2 and 1/2 with a chair rail - we will have to see what it looks like when it gets here! I am getting excited!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

17 weeks down 23 more to go

Wow already 17 weeks - it feels like just yesterday we found out we were expecting - yesterday I started laying out my year and all of my vacations and Weddings - (Yeah Melanie) wow are we busy people. I am sure with the baby coming that nothing about our schedule will change - maybe the places we are going will change but I am certain we will still be busy as can bee!- haha Well I am now 17 weeks and I am sure some of you are wondering if I am really going to update you each and every week - well the answer to that is YES -
Andy and I have been talking about trying to pick a new name - one that is unisex - so I can call the bump in my belly by it's name and not worry about calling it all these weird names - I think for the most part every name we came up with we have a friend that already uses that name - so for now we are still on the original 2 names - I am stuck between 2 different patterns for the babies room - if you want to help let me know I will gladly send you the links to the pictures!
Well this is what and who we are this week - notice that "baby" is now refers to as a HE - Baby Center refers to the baby every other week as girl - boy - girl- boy so this is not my wishful thinking ... Your baby weighs about 5 ounces now, and he's around 5 inches long — about the size of a large onion. The umbilical cord, his lifeline to the placenta, is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby can move his joints, and his skeleton — until now, rubbery cartilage — is starting to harden into bone. Some of it will remain cartilage for years after he's born. A newborn's skeleton has 300 parts (a combination of bone and cartilage). As your child grows, some of these parts harden and fuse together. By the time your baby reaches adulthood, he'll have just 206 bones.
With the baby being compared to a LARGE Onion I can't come up with one thing to name it! For you SnowBE's that are still in my life we could always name it Olivia - but no one else would get it - haha so I think I will stick with "O"

Weekend of relaxation

For the first time in a VERY LONG time I did absolutely nothing this weekend -
Well I guess I shouldn't say nothing, but I did not travel and I did not run run run!

Friday night I did laundry at my pace - watching TV and taking care of it when I felt like it! :) All while waiting on Melanie to call - I knew she would call but was not sure of when it would be! Around 9 pm I looked at Andy and said "honey, why hasn't she called yet?" I was so worried something was wrong - she called within 10 minutes - ha ha - Congratulations on your engagement MelBel! I went to bed after I spoke with her.

On Saturday we got up ate breakfast and went to Babies R Us and Target to start looking at things to register for! Wow so overwhelming! We had fun and there is no doubt in my mind that I over registered for things I don't need - oh well!

On Sunday we got up ate breakfast and then I went to Mom and Dad's with Dudley, we picked up Murphy and off to the beach we went - a quick game of ball and headed home! when I got home we picked dinners for the week and I headed to Wally World while Andy finished cleaning his car and the garage -

Now isn't that something after writing it all down I really did a lot just not at the tiring pace I am used to! It was very relaxing and I could defiantly get used to that!

My Name is Moley

This week I am 16 weeks -

My size:
4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, your baby is about the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, though, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. Her lower limbs are much more developed now. Her head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved toward the front of her head. Your baby's ears are close to their final position, too. Some of her more advanced body systems are working, including her circulatory system and urinary tract. Her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, circulating her total blood volume through her body many times.
