Rambeling

Not much to say today ... I am feeling good. I am now 7 weeks pregnant and I have reached that "tired" "exhausted" stage already ... some of that probably has to do with the baby we already have, Christmas and trying to get our new accounting software up and running at work! We stayed with the program we has had for the last 8 years, but I am starting FRESH ... starting all over ... so we have to transfer all of our info and data! But I am only transferring the GOOD stuff ... haha Well Tatum has been waking up for the past several nights at 10 pm and then goes back to sleep - she used to sleep 7 - 7 uninterrupted but ... this 10pm thing is killing me! I just want to sleep uninterrupted for 2 nights in a row ... haha like that will ever happen!

My 2008 is already filling up ... very fast!

January 14th we close on the new house

January 19 - 26 we are on a cruise

February 9th - we are headed to Daytona for the BIG 50th year anniversary 500!

Little Miracles

Little Miracles
Well we have a lot going on here in Myrtle Beach ... lets see where should I start?!
Lets start with the House:
We got it! It is ours! Next year this time I will live in a house with "THE WATERWAY" in MY back yard!!! Holly shit ... my dream ... seriously, I know that people say "I am living my dream" but for as LONG as I can remember I have wanted to live on the river and now it is coming TRUE! It needs some work and in time it will be great! I can't wait! Now lets just pray that our house sells in a few months ... our luck it will sell right a way or it will take FOREVER ... oh well God works in mysterious ways ...
Which leads me to the next BIG NEWS ... we are having a baby! Yes another baby! I know I know before you say it ... don't you have a baby?! Yes we have a baby! You all know HOW it happened, but if you must know it was defiantly NOT PLANNED! You see it took us 11 months to get preggo with Tatum and well honestly things had just gotten back to normal in our house ... normal meaning that we were just liking each other again, I had just ordered Birth Control, but NEVER got to use it! Again God works in mysterious ways! This is a blessing, I know it will be hard, and I know that a lot of you will Judge or think I AM NUTZ, by the way i just stopped crying yesterday ... I have cried for a week! I am now getting to the point where I know we will be fine, we have a great support team and I know that this is just meant to be! (I am aprox 6 weeks and the aprox due date is August 11, which will be 14 months apart!)
So here were are Tatum's first Christmas, our last Christmas in this house, and our last Christmas with one baby! I told you we had a lot going on!

Well ... Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Christmas Survery

I just filled out a Christmas Survey on my MYSpace ... one of the questions was: Have you ever had your broken on Christmas ... I never have! Have you?! I thought I did one year but I really didn't ...
I collect Snow Babies ... do you collect anything?! Oh yeah and ornaments where ever we go ... anywho it was the first year Andy and I were dating ... note - we were engaged we actually only dated 3 months before he popped the question! Engaged ... I told him and my mom all I wanted was the Snow Baby Christmas Pageant (Nativity Set). Andy and I stayed at my mom and dad's that Christmas Eve, we woke up ate breakfast opened presents ... it wasn't there ... I didn't get it! As most of my readers know I am SPOILED ... so yeah I cried ... my mom asked what was wrong I said I didn't get the pageant?! What happened I said I wanted it ... then I realized that i was being a big fat SPOILED baby, I dried my eyes hugged her and my dad. Then I thanked them for all the gifts, told them I was sorry I was spoiled but they single handedly did it to me! :) Then we left went to Andy's family house ... I opened there and it wasn't there either! I was sad but did not let them know the way I had my family ... on the way home Andy asked if I had a good Christmas I told him yes, I had him a wonderful family and I was the most blessed woman ever ... he started laughing and said he was sorry I didn't get the pageant that he KNEW I wanted it and that he and mom had looked high and low for it that it was SOLD OUT ... I started to tear up!
We got home I gave him his last few presents and we did presents with my roommate ... then Andy stood up and was like wait I think I forgot one ... yeah I did I forgot one I don't see it here ... he went to my bedroom and came back out with a huge box - in a box, in a box, in a box ... it was MY CHRISTMAS PAGEANT! I love it!
So have you been heart broken? Fooled? or Surprised?!
I will post a picture of my Snow Baby Collection tomorrow I left my camera at work like an IDIOT!

Welder

WOW you guys really read my shit - hahahah
Several of you commented on my welding ability -
I co-own a Steel Fabrication and Erection Business!

I wish I could find the pictures ... but I looked and can't find it - I took a picture of me when I was about 50lbs lighter standing int he back of my truck with my dew rag on with my hand held up like Vanna White showing off the ERECTION protion of our HUGE window advetisment truck stickers. It all started in college - I would come home for summer and learn one thing or another about our "family" business ... Elvis Welding. First I learned to weld I was certified in all aspects of welding, wire, tig, mig, and Special Inspection welding. The next summer I learned to read blue prints, layout jobs and erect those jobs. The next summer I learned to operate the crane and run large projects from the sidelines ... once i gruduated (which took me 7 years, 2 majors and a minor none in construstion) I helped my dad implememt a benifits package and a computer system ... he was still doing it all by hand. Then I took over the bids, the contract billing, receiving, taxes and payroll now I am the HBIC (Head Bitch in Charge) I am the lady with a plan! Since I have been there we have grown from a $300,000 company to 5.3 mil this year! Dad says it is all in the computers ... I just laugh and tell him that it may have to do with the 14 trucks I have added, the 16 welders I have added and don't forget the employees went from 13 to 36. I love it, I love my guys! Yes like usual they take advantage, they are big fat bitches and they complain and whine a lot but isn't that what every one that has to work does?! At least that is what I do - I complain and bitch but you know what I got it made. Before Tatum I worked 60 hours a week ... now I work maybe 32 and I have Friday - Sunday off! Oh and I have had several raises in the past year - even though my hours are not close to what they were ... but guess what I AM THE BOSS -

haha didn't mean to get conceded on you! Hope that all of this explains the welding and the owning a business! Thanks for all of you that read me!

Dream coming true

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to live on The River . What I call "The River" is the Intercoastal Waterway. It runs from NY to FL ... if you want to read more on it ... click The River above. Anywho ... I can remember being 5 years old skiing up and down that river all day long, begging my parents to just let us stay a little while longer. They were tired, sun burnt wind burnt and ready to go home ... one more time please just a little longer. Our boat was often the first out of storage from winter and most of the time the last to be put up. I skied and wake boarded when it was freezing out. I loved it ... I still do! We used to drive up and down up and down on the river looking at every single open house, open lot just dreaming that I would one day get a chance to live there. I begged my parents to buy a lot, buy a house, even if it is a trailer ... just something. They never did, now they get mad at them selves when we travel the waterway ... 1/4 acre lots are selling for $375,000 when they used to sell acres for $35,000. My MIL is a Real Estate Agent ... she is always on the look out for me ... well GUESS WHAT ... she found us a fixer upper. It is on a lot 102 x 170 I am not sure how much acre wise it is ... I would think over 1/4 under 1/2. (I know it is bigger than the one we are on now)
But the house is 4700+ heated and the best part ...
ON THE WATER ...

it has a pool and a hot tub: (picture from last spring)
The View of the river ... is awesome!
Look at this: (pool closed for winter) House from across river:
We put a bid in, they accepted it!

Yes you heard me they accepted our bid - we have some inspections that we have ordered. Our closing is based on those inspections ... the HVAC inspection did not go well ... hope the others go better!

Wish us lots of luck and patience! We will need it!

Before looking at these pictures remember that a little paint goes a long way!
