HER FURTURE IS SO SO BRIGHT

Haha ... Tatum ... along with all babies (I think all babies) hate the sun! Everytime we walk outside she wiggles and sqirms and slams shut her pretty little eyes ...
So I bought her some glasses:

She loves her Daddy:

Our Watch Dog

I feel sorry for the first boy that comes to the door ... not only do they have to deal with Daddy but they have to get past Dudley ...

We are at work today and she is doing great ... mommy on the other hand is ready to pull her own hair out! Did I say I missed this place?!

I miss you all!

Hey everyone ... I miss you! I miss work and I miss my computer! I have a laptop at home, but with the baby and the lack of sleep it is hard to read everyone's blog, check my mail, check my myspace and do all else that needs done. Boy oh boy it is a good thing I am my own boss, I had NO IDEA I spent SOOOOOOO much time on the internet at work! Hahaha

We have been busy ... Tatum has had 2 more bottles since the last entry and one was horrible ... it was followed by about 45 minutes of the loudest, redest screaming face I have ever seen. The 3rd wasn't so bad, but she was still searching for the boob afterwards. We will continue to work on it ... however, warming up the pumped breast milk is a pain in my ass ... now I know the ease of breast feeding!

What else ... oh yeah it was Papa's (Andy's Grandpa) 78th birthday and we went to Glenda's (his Momma's) to celebrate last night ... here are some photos!

All Dressed up for the party!

Happy Birthday PaPa!
Blowing Birthday Kisses!
Really that is all that is happening ... today it is nice out so far ... not too hot! I took the baby on a walk and she loved it, I hope it stays cool so we can go to the pier or beach!
Hope to catch up will all of you soon!

Baby got the BOTTLE~

Hey everyone ... so sorry it has been so long ... but motherhood sure is time consuming! Haha

Things are going well I am very sleep deprived, and please don't tell me to nap when baby naps cause that just doesn't work for me. I am having to work from home, and with that house work and the day time requirements of the baby I have no time to nap, and at night we sleep when we can, but unlike Daddy I can't fall asleep in less than 1 minute.

Yesterday we had a weird day ... I had a hair appointment at 3 ... guess what people 3 is our feeding time. I fed the baby at noon ... at 1:45 she was still awake so I decided I would keep her up until 2:15 and feed her then ... however around 1:45 Tatum was screaming she was EXHAUSTED and she could not even keep her eyes open, so I let her go to sleep. I tried to wake her at 2:15 to feed ... no suck luck. I took her to the hair appointment with me ... she never woke up ... she didn't wake up until 5:15 ... which was against my better judgement, but I could not get her to wake up. At 5:15 she ate for about 6 min on one side ... yes that was it, and it was back to sleep. My boobs hurt so darn bad at that point.

We got home from my mom's around 7ish ... I pumped since I was engorged. I got about 7 oz ... 4 from one side and 3 from the other ... and wouldn't you know it that the baby woke up screaming of hunger minutes after I was done pumping ... resulting in this:

Now that bottle was filled with warm breast milk and it took 2 types of bottles and nipples to get her to take it, but guess what folks ... she took it! Which means ... MOMMY gets to sleep thru one feeding a night! OMG!!! I am stoked!

This is harder than I thought!

Now I know why MOTHER'S DAY is such a HUGE day ... mothers should be celebrated at least 6-1/2 days a week. No one ever told me that the breast feeding was so darn hard. The latch on and the milk coming in was no problem ... the problem is that I can't sleep more than 2 hours at any given time ... and my head is KILLING me! Lack of sleep headache, I remember those from College days, but never remember them being this damn bad. So to all of you breast feeding mommies out there I stand and applause you ... all of you! I am not giving up yet but wow I really want to. I want to more than ever at the 2 am feeding when Daddy gets up and gets her, brings her to me, fills my water and is usually snoring before her mouth is on my boob! That is the worst feeding ever! Oh well I will stick to it, but is any of you have some words of encouragement I would love to hear it all!

PS went to the mall today to shop ... they have this great nursing area ... or so I thought ... the damn nursing room is half the size of my bathroom, they had teenboop music blaring, no air register and 2 spot lights that made it about 80 degrees in there ... by the end of the 30 min feeding session we were all sweating and I was pissed ... next time we will head home to feed!
