Hey everyone ... our bundle of Joy is here ... she is BEAUTIFUL!~ I can't stop touching her!
It has been a roller coaster! I tried very hard for the vaginal delivery but in the end it did not work out ... I was taken to the surgery room around 7 pm on Monday and they had to perform a c-section. Baby would NOT DROP - I had very sever contractions from 9 am until 6 pm with no change in cervix or dilatation. It was all very emotional ... which by the way all still is. I had no idea I would be a mess like this but I am. Andy has done great, and he seems to totally understand my SOBBING for NO good reason! I am pretty sore and tired so I am going to take a nap while baby is asleep and I PROMISE I will write more this weekend! I PROMISE for now here are some pictures for ya ...
Trying to walk her down ...

Welcome to this world Tatum, glad to finally see you. Mama & Papa were wondering when you were going to finally arrive.
Kim, glad you had a safe delivery even if it was a long one and you had to have a c-section. Can't wait for more pictures.
Delurking also.

Congrats to you! she's beautiful!
Yeah!!! Hi Baby Girl!!!!
Kim, your labor and my labor were pretty similar. I was in labor 26 hours and all I had was pain and no dilation.
I think going through all those emotions are normal...and should be embraced. It's your first baby. Enjoy every single tear and the rollercoaster you are on. It's such a wonderful ride. The only thing I really remember about my post partum was that I felt weird not having my kid in there. Like there was no kicking etc. But you have no rash anymore too, so that's like a huge relief I'm sure.
Oh just enjoy her. Both of you. Oh yeah, because many times it goes unsaid...Congrats to the new proud papa. Daddy's little girl...
You're doomed Andy. She's gonna have you wrapped around her finger...even when she rolls her eyes at you she'll still be daddy's little girl....
Very cool!
She's beautiful!
I'm so happy for you guys.
Congratulations.
And, keep the pictures coming.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!I'm SO excited to see pics. We just got home from our anniversary dinner and a movie. I had to hop on and see. I was figuring if you had a C-section you'd just be getting around to the blog today or tomorrow. Sorry to hear that you ended up with the C...I'm sure by that point you didn't care. She's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! That's the other good thing about C-section babies...they come out nice and pretty! SO happy for you both. Yes, that Daddy's girl comment is SO true. I love the middle name!!! I had no idea you were doing that. I like how you spelled it too. We did Lindsay in honor of my sister Linda who passed away. I wanted her whole name in the name so that's why we didn't go with "EY" on the end.
Take care of yourself. Go slow these first few days and don't over do it. CONGRATULATIONS again!!!!!!
Yea. She is a cutie pie. Love the shot in front of the hospital!!
congratulations to you guys... and to you baby tatum, welcome to the world:)
OMGosh...with the move and everything I didn't get here to say HI and here you have a brand new BEAUTIFUL baby girl! Congratulations! And her name is beautiful too, I love it.
My labor and delivery of my first child was much like you described..I had an emergency c-section after HOURS of hard labor..NOT FUN! But in the end..so very worth it..
